Product Reviews: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 is a small, lightweight and fun camera to use, able to snap pictures under challenging conditions, and at the same time maintain a great image quality that is well above the average. There is so much technology in such a small camera  device and best of all, it is one of the fastest cameras on the market at this moment.  

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 is a very compact camera, with 10.2 mega pixels resolution that gives you great image quality.  Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 features Sony low-light-optimized Exmor R Sensor.  This feature will snap up to six photos at various exposures in a fast sequence, then put the images together to refine the photo.  Another very useful feature is the Advanced Setting in its Scene Recognition Mode that gives you the opportunity to take two snaps with just one press of the button: one without flash and the other with the flash.  Then, it will show you those two pictures one next to the other and it will let you choose the one you like the most.  

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 has also a 2.4 wide-angle Sony Lens G, and a fast image processor.  The 2.7-inch LCD screen, which will allow you to review the pictures taken, is sharp and bright.  The camera also has a  Sweep Panorama mode that allows you to create an instant panoramic image with surprisingly little effort.  It works best with static landscapes, as any moving objects in the frame can appear to stretch across a large portion of the panoramic scene.  Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 can take up to 10 frames per second, this option is called burst mode and can be selected by pressing a small button next to the shutter release.  The camera also has an anti blur mode option.  

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 has a Movie Option with an HD video quality of 720p and can also capture high quality pictures with his 5x Optical Zoom.  The camera has also a very good battery life.

Sony over all did a very good job by making the shooting options so understandable and user friendly. A main disadvantage of this camera is that you have to wait 2-3 seconds for each photo to be saved in the memory stick. However, over all, this a great gadget to own; in a nutshell, it is a small camera capable of big things.
