Reasons To Buy A Cheap Digital Camera

I Need To Buy A Digital Camera

I have a confession to make. I do not own a digital camera. I want to buy one but I haven’t got round to it yet. There are so many to choose from that I keep putting it off.

Well now I have a legitimate reason to buy a digital camera due to the experience I had on a mini vacation I recently took.

I went on a weekend trip to Milan, Italy. It was a fantastic trip because I was meeting up with friends as well as seeing the sights.

There isn’t really that much to see but we did manage to decide on a few things and made a list of 5 things to see in Milan on a weekend trip.

Among the sights that we visited, we went to the magnificent Duomo cathedral in central Milan. It was the optimal time to take photos but unbelievably, out of the five of us, no one had brought a camera with them.

One person had had his stolen, I didn’t own one so couldn’t bring one, one guy had an old fashioned 35mm camera that we had all laughed at. He had bought it from Oxfam (a charitable organisation) so was doing his bit for charity. Today he had decided to leave the old and, some might say cumbersome, relic at the apartment.

The remaining two in the group just assumed that someone else would be carrying a camera. No one even had a camera on their mobile phones. How hilarious. We joked that we could ask a random stranger to take a picture on their camera and email it to us.

The Kindness Of Strangers

Just then a fellow tourist asked one of the group if he could take a picture of her and her partner. Without missing a beat, my friend said he would be happy to oblige if she could do us a favour and take our picture.

The picture was promptly taken, email addresses exchanged and two days after I arrived home I received an email with our pictures. What a wonderful woman and what fantastic pictures they were.

So now I am endeavouring to purchase my own digital camera so that I can make my own memories or indeed help out a fellow holiday maker in the future.

So the first thing that I need to do is to take a look online at a few cameras that look nice and have great functionality. Once I decide what the most important factors are in a camera, I will be able to narrow my choice down and finally buy something.
