Samsung Galaxy Tablet is all set to release on this September 2 for the IFA 2010 at Berlin. Don’t know what’s IFA? IFA is one of the world’s largest trades shows hosted on Berlin. The acronym stands for Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, which means The Berlin Radio Show (the first show began in 1926). Now, combing back to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet PC, it is one of the most awaited releases for the IFA. The 7-inch Android tablet comes with all the courage to compete with the Apple Ipad. Officially the product is named as Galaxy Tab (GT –P1000) and is actually designed to fit in between the Netbooks and Ipad. The accessories of the Samsung Galaxy Tab look very stylish and attractive. It has a separate keyboard peripheral which can be preferred when we are working on it for a long time. The Galaxy Tab is also said to have a neat set of HDMI and audio output ports, which makes it easy to play movies through your HDTV.

The device is said to be priced at $69, whereas the additional keyboard costs $105.The leather case for Samsung Galaxy Tab is priced around $52. It is expected that when the localized Asian price is formally declared it may simply dip down a bit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab OS and Firmware
The Samsung Firmware has accepted Android 2.2 (Proyo) software designed for Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 with a 1GHz processor. Its screen size is just 800x480 possibly because of the Android 2.2 OS. This is a drawback when compared with iPad resolution of 1024x768 and iPhone 4 with 960x649. The tablet can be used for easy internet and e-book reading.
The Galaxy tab also comes with a 3.2 M Camera and front camera, WiFi, 3G, GPS, mobileTV (T-DMB) and a 16GB internal memory with extension slot also. It will also support a voice call feature which iPad doesn’t do.
