1. Click Start and type gpedit.msc then hit Return.
You should be faced with the "Local Group Policy Editor".
2. In this window navigate to the following:
Administrative Templates > Network > DNS Client > Turn off Multicast Name Resolution
The image below shows where you need to be.
Once you reach this location tick the "Disabled" radio button and hit "OK".
That's all you need to do. Try running your SQL query again to see whether this has worked for you.
