Avatar 3D IMAX Experience, Clash of the Titans, How To Train Your Dragon
We are a 3-dimensional character being, hence we tried to associate with shape that we can interact with better namely all 3d objects. Although most of our creations can be both 2d and 3d we strive to push the boundaries of 2d to have a sense of 3d. Recently this shown through 3D watching experience such as the IMAX 3d theater experience and the film that made the popular mark on this: Avatar, followed by other popular 3d movies such as how to train your dragon, Alice in wonderland, and more. We also try to push 2d graphic design everyday objects such as business cards or name cards, picture and photo frames, even wallpaper, and others to deliver 3d interactive presence around us. We got struck with 3D so much that Cisco even invented the holographic tele-presence communication to enhance communication method not just through sound and video but the presence of the real 3d imaging of the person's actual physical body. It's cool to actually know that we're living in the futuristic communication era just as pictured in Star Wars. We got struck so much with 3D, Samsung recently announced the 3D TV product (see the commercial picture above). With this 3d television one can constantly get 3d experience from the comfort of their home.
We are all aware we are surrounded by very cool gadgets from latest technology such as iPad, iPhone, Kindle, all other kind of cool gears. Invention never stop and this presentation is truly trying to prove this and really an inspirational one that I enjoyed.
