Power Washer versus Jet Spray Cabinet Washers

Stuck on the End of a Power Washer Gun

I still marvel at a business that cleans engine blocks and transmissions with a high pressure washer. Sure the initial equipment is less expensive than a parts washer cabinet but other cost mount up and it soon is a non issue.

Standing on the end of a spray gun is wasted time. Needless to say the environmental liability issue in today’s world comes into play. Taking the greasy parts “out back” or letting the dirty water run down the parking lot is placing a business in jeopardy.

Contrast this with placing items in a cabinet parts washer, turning on the wash timer, and doing other tasks during the cleaning cycle just makes common sense.

The excuse of “can’t afford” goes out the window when the cost of lost time is factored in. Take the monthly cost of a lease to own and calculate the savings of a hot jet spray parts washer versus the pressure washer. The math is simple and the decision should be easy.
