The Benefits of SIP VoIP Forking

The new Paradigm of Communication

The great curse of modern telephone systems is how we're so tied down to one device for making calls. While it's true that the unique shape of phones and smartphones make them great enablers for voice chatting, a lot more can be done to bring telephone calls up to scratch. Think about it for a minute. When you receive an email, you can check it on any device. Your phone, your PC, your tablet and even multiple instances of each of these. In fact, your email address is divorced from your device altogether. When you have to check an email, you don't go scrambling around for a particular system. You never wonder which device to bring along when you're on the go. You know that it's always there - available on any hardware you choose.

Why are phone calls so different? Telecommunication and all its associated services are intrinsically bound up with specific devices through telephone numbers. Calls to a number can be receiving only on one unit instead of whichever happens to be closes at that point of time. Voicemails are frustratingly locked down on to your phone as well, making migration a hassle and decreasing your productivity.

This is where VoIP comes in. It's a solution to all these problems.
