Try Out Chromecast! It's Like Having Cable For Free!
Chrome cast is absolutely awesome. I love it. It costed me about 35 bucks. It's a small device about 3 inches long. It attaches into the back of your TV's HDMI port (only with up to date flat screens and High Def TV's) and its power cable plugs into the back of it and into your power outlet in the wall. Then you set it up on your wireless internet and boom! You have the ability to watch you tube videos of all kinds on your big screen TV, or Netflix as well. It comes in very handy for me, the instructions to set it up took minutes only for me, and I don't really need cable because all the stuff I want to watch is on you tube like old TV shows or music videos or music playlists even.
I would definitely recommend getting this device. There is a little privacy thing to read which basically states that other people could find out what you're watching but hey, that's OK as long as it's OK with you?! And Google Chrome is the internet browser you would use with it.
What a great invention! I've been using it almost daily now!
The first video above describes in detail how to set up the chrome cast which is fairly easy. The second one give some techy tips of how to get more out of chrome cast and note you can "cast" that is watch videos from your smart phones and tablets as well if they have the proper apps on them and set up.
It's all about wireless pleasure, my friend. My laptop does just fine though. It plays the video itself on my screen of computer and then I select it to play on the TV. Again, this is just great and fantastic because it's only a one time cost of $35 for such a great service.
I used to only have basic cable for watching EWTN, the Catholic Channel and so, for those of you who don't want to pay for cable, you're in for the sweetest treat. This baby could save you $60 a month or more!
Enjoy!
