VIZIO HDTV VIA with Internet Apps -- Under $300!

I continue to be amazed at VIZIO's ability to combine state-of-the-art technology with quality and value -- and offer products that exactly what people want.

For under $300 you can get an LCD HDTV with Internet apps that you can also use as a computer monitor. I'm referring to VIZIO's 22-inch Class Razor LED LCD HDTV M221NV with Internet Apps.

VIZIO HDTV with Internet Apps -- Extraordinary Value and Versatility

The M221NV is the perfect HDTV for the kitchen where you can catch your favorites while preparing supper. At this price you could also put one in the bedroom or kid's room.

Its versatile design allows you to use it as a computer monitor, as well as HDTV. It has built-in Wi-Fi (802.11n) as well as a standard Ethernet connection. Setup is easy.

And it comes with VIA™ -- VIZIO Internet Apps, offering a world of online content -- Amazon Video on Demand, Flickr, Netflix, Rhapsody, Twitter, VUDU and Yahoo TV Widgets pre-loaded on the TV, ready to launch on-screen at the touch of a single button on the remote. More apps from other providers are available by browsing the apps gallery that is dynamically updated right on your VIZIO HDTV.

With SRD TruVolume and ambient light sensors, it automatically adjusts volume inconsistencies among programs, and automatically adjust brightness based on ambient room light.

Is there Anything Wrong with the M221NV?

For under $300 the M221MV far exceeds expectations. You get many features that are available on larger, higher priced models. Of course, the larger models -- like VIZIO's XVT 3SV models -- have even more stunning features like SRS TruSurround HD Premium sound.

The remote control that comes with the M221NV is VIZIO's V12 remote -- adequate but not the full-featured Querty remote with slide-out keypad.

With two three-inch speakers, the sound quality does not compare to the full-bodied vibes you get with the the XVT 3SV models. But you can fiddle with the controls and improve it from the out-the-box settings.

The 1080p at 22" is what impressed me, along with all the specs you included. I thought this was a good hub. If I were looking for a 22, this could have swayed me. But I just bought a 26!
