Weebly: A Free Drag And Drop Website Creation Tool

Updated on July 18, 2014

Get A Free Weebly Website

Weebly is a website creation tool that is really super easy to use, it has a drag and drop interface which makes formatting your web content much easier as all you have to do is select the title and text modules and drag them into your web page.

Weebly is a website that I've known about for the past year or so, but never got around to using it until recently and I wished I did use it back last year as it is the most easiest website creation tool that I've ever used, much better than what you used to have to do before these quality web page editors came on the scene.

Weebly is one of the few exceptions that don't plaster your free website with their ads and you can take charge of your own website with a domain name of your choice from Weebly's own domain name registrar or you can use your own domain or the sub domain as standard. At the moment it seems you can start different sites within one account as to how many I do not know as I only need 2 so that's what I've aimed for.

Additionally you can add google adsense to your website and earn 50% of the ad revenue which is split between you and Weebly earns the other 50% which is fair enough as they also provide a way for you to sell your own products through Google Checkout and connecting your paypal email so you can get paid through the sales of your products.

Also the ability to add your own custom html opens up the opportunities for you to try affiliate marketing through your website and earn affiliate commissions for your referral efforts. There are also many themes to choose from and you can customize the header graphic with one of your own or a suitable one from a free graphic site.

Of course like any free site there is always an upgrade where you have to pay a fee for extras such as audio player, embedded documents and your own video and other stuff which may make it easier to create a branded site of your very own.

Although you probably won't need to upgrade because the free account is enough for your website whatever you need it for, business or personal, and what I like about Weebly is you can add a blog to your website with other extras like a forum.

Weebly is a really great online tool for building websites and it is drag and drop easy!
