Why does Yahoo News Suck?
Any useful stories?
I began comparing news from all sorts of websites and search engines. These include Google and Yahoo. Of all the websites and search engines I reviewed, Google is my personal choice for news updates. Yahoo on the other hand is one place I would not visit to get any kind of information. Simply put, in my personal opinion, Yahoo news is crap. It is one of the most successful websites in the world, so why can't they get a worthy story?
Here are some examples of featured content in their news section. One of the stories I read is about why Gmail users save more on their electric bill than Ymail users. Who takes time to figure out what Google users do in their personal life compared to Yahoo? The report says Gmail users are more likely to save on their electric bill because they wash clothes by hand with cold water.
And Yahoo is limited in that department. Most of the reports are outdated by time they are published, and there is a fascination with celebrities that no one cares about anymore. It hurts my eyes reading these reports so bad I just bookmarked my Yahoo mail url. All this to avoid the poisonous information that this site spreads.
Once upon a time this site was a great place for news updates but now it has gone to the bottomless pit. At this current moment this hub is being written, the top story is about a lady whose electric bill was $1.3 million dollars, which was corrected the next day and happened 2 weeks ago. Yahoo sucks in more ways than one.
