The thought of a true utopia, to me, seems unrealistic. Kind of in the idea of why a truly communistic government won't work. Humans are competitive by nature and want to have more than others, with people always striving to be better, we would never really be able to stop violence, arguments, and settle feuds in civilized ways. I believe that technology could give us the opportunity to live in a utopia like atmosphere, but will never actually happen due to the human race. As for the end of the human race, I don't believe that we will actually ever become extinct because of technology. The human race is definitely changing, and it will forever be changing, and in a hundred years from now, humans will be totally different than what we are now. By that, I'm referring to the possibilities of cloning, stem cell research, and many other technologically advanced sciences we're researching will be fully developed and will probably change the human race in a huge way. All I can say is that I am happy I probably won't be alive to see that happen.
