The cell companies want to charge something like $29 a month for this feature. If you have an Android, you can buy PDANet for $20 and set yourself up without even having to root your phone. When I switched to another cell company and got a new phone, my PDANet license was transferrable. Like gvannorman150 said, it will be slow at 3G-- but the cell phone "version" won't be any faster. Also, bear in mind that you would be using up your data allowance. I love how they say you have unlimited data-- as long as you don't go over 5 Gig. It's amazing what we let them get away with. Maybe we are as stupid as they think.
