Look around in your local community. There are often several companies that can host a website and your domain address. If you are looking for bells and whistles, the I recommend Go Daddy. It is not terribly expensive, but they have a template base web page building system that is very simple to use, and they have a good support system. They also have a lot of other features you can purchase, but that runs up the price.
VistaPrinting also hosts websites. The only problem there is that if you acquire your web address through them, you are only renting it and if you want to move it, you have to pay a higher fee. Plus you cannot move the pages. They are also template base.
At my last job, my IT consultant hosted my web site and I had a webdesigner redesign the site and maintain it for me. I built our original site. But building web pages has gotten more complicated and required more time than I was willing or able to allocate to it.
