The way I see it, non-Apple device makers and the Android Open Source Project are on borrowed time with their current Android path. How does Samsung and the other makers survive the i-litigation and move to become distinctly different from Apple? What innovation is needed to truly propel Samsung and company down the next generation path? How will the Android Open Source Project become the standard instead of always playing catch-up? Will Android just outlast iOS? Is Android destined to fail? What I'm really asking is, how will non-iOS survive and define the next generation of devices?
