Is Google five times more popular than Bing or Yahoo?

I noticed that in my recent Hub traffic, 1131 hits came from Google.  Bing delivered only 186 and Yahoo trailed with 154.  Based upon this, it does seem that Google is at least five times more popular than either of the other two search engines - and more than three times as popular as both Bing & Yahoo combined!  Do these figures jive with your results?

Personally speaking I rarely use any other search engine than google. In my opinion it has replaced the Yellow Pages and MapQuest. I have also used for language translations. There is not a single day that I don't search something using google! (FYI: I'm NOT a google employee) :-)

I also use Google as number one, but I have Yahoo for email.

With my browser search changing everytime I turn on my computer's. I would say there is a war out there with search engines. Consumers are not able to stay with just one search engine, programs keep kicking google.com out. I rely upon google.com, and it frustrates me to have to change settings in all my browsers evry single day. I need a program that will keep out these no name search engines, so I can search whom I want to with. Google has what I look for, and I am addicted to its capacities to help find answers.

I have the same problem with 'my start' and 'avg' and others.  I spend hours getting rid of them but they keep coming back.  Google must be losing revenue to these pirates.

On 13 May 2013, Sitepronews.com says: "Recent statistics state that Google has about 62% of the search engine market share, worldwide. Bing, the second place search destination, has 9% and climbing. Yahoo holds roughly 5%, and for the most part, continues to lose steam."

So Google is not just 5 times more popular than Bing or Yahoo, but almost 7 times more than Bing and more than 12 times that of Yahoo. Google is 4.4% more popular than Bing and Yahoo combined. Nonetheless, your personal findings are close enough.

Personally, I like Google the best. In the region I belong, Google is synonym to Internet. If any kid is learning computers the first thing he or she is taught after teaching him how to open a computer or laptop is how to use Google. So, I don't know about how many times but Google is really very famous. I hardly use any other search engine. If One thing is not found on Google than it does not have any definite and specific answer on Internet anywhere.

I agree.  Google is the best.  I have to search for it because some other engines keep making themselves my home page.

I guess it is harder to get a number one in Google than it is in Yahoo or Bing.
