   I prefer a laptop because of its portability. My desktop is newer and that may be why I don't use it as much right now, though.

   Laptop of course.  I have given up on using desktop five years back because I am constantly on the move.  Unless you are a serious gamer, you do not need a desktop IMHO

   Desktop. it's more comfortable for writing, plus I have the option of a bigger screen and better visuals.

   I prefer the lappy because I can sit on my soft couch and use it. Also it's portable. I also prefer it over a tablet. I like real buttons, not a touch screen.

   I prefer laptops because you can take it with you when you travel. did exactly that a month ago while traveling between four countries.

   Well i would prefer a Desktop for gaming and for drawing  however if it is for typing ,coding or for study ,laptops are best ,since they are portable and you can take them somewhere "quite" and you can concentrate on your work there.

   Oddly enough, I have not worked exclusively or even frequently on a desktop in probably close to a decade!

   At home a Desktop  computer. Away from home a laptop for its conveniences. I don't have one though.

    Inside home i prefer desktop and while travelling I use laptop.  With laptop, I find typing a little bit tiring job moreover the system gets heat when the usage lasts longer.

    Good Day All;  It all depends on how I feel and want to do at the time. Currently I'm home setting at my desk and using the desktop, with my feet up. Plus also using 2(23") monitors in split screen mode. Currently I have my Hub page and Facebook pages open on one and the other Twitter and Warrior Forum open on the other. 
    
    My laptop is on the desk doing a recharge so I will go to Starbucks and use it there or while watching TV and checking E-Mail, later.
