Am I the only one who dreads going on Facebook?

I connected with a bunch of snowboarding pros and people I met at snowboard camp.  I used to be thrilled at what they were doing.  Now, whenever I go on FaceBook, I feel as if life is passing me by.  I enjoy finding old friends, but even then I don't keep up with them.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I feel similar and am empathetic of the expressed feelings. I don't really dread it in the sense you are sharing regarding life passing me by. That may be kinda' an oxymoron of sorts since what is posted on the wall is 'actually' life passing by. I must admit you have given me inspiration with this post. I am adding to my list of things to do a new as time allows item. Look for friends from my early life just for the fun of the adventure. Thank you :-)

I dreaded facebook during elections. There is so much drama flying around that it feels like work. I've settled into a comfortable routine now, but I agree that it often feels like a total waste of time (which it is). I wrote a hub a while back about a "blackout week challenge" wherein I offered a solution to people who hate social media. Basically the challenge is to go a week without facebook. I've done it twice and my wife has done it once. It's startling how much more you get done during that week.

At least Bubblews paid. I found I enjoyed interacting more on Bubblews. Even then I lost interest, because even though I was always paid (always meaning twice), I got nervous reading other people's stories about getting shafted,
