I got Kaspersky AV as a quick fix for a computer with 140 GB. The updates are filling up my drive...
Can I do anything without uninstalling or formatting?
This is not exactly an answer. I bought Kaspersky for my computer, and 2 weeks later it froze up. Some ad was stuck there. When I could get it off, it would pop back up in 10-15 seconds. My wife talked to the tech guy at work, and he said we had a virus. He claimed that Kaspersky was junk, and recommended Spyware Doctor. She was told to run the program 3-4 times to make sure we got rid of everything. We did, and it removed over 1000 bugs plus the virus. This was all the stuff that Kaspersky was supposed to remove. I would look at switching, and remove the Kaspersky program. It does not do what it claims.

The stats have frozen again, and have not been updated for 12 hours (heading for the weekend). Earlier in the week they were stuck for 3 days. That means that the stats are only OK, twice a week - very disappointing! It has been getting worse lately. Please fix this HP staff. Thanks.

So I've been getting the Windows 10 pop-ups for the last several months and I've been clicking the "no thanks" button on every one. This morning, I wiggled my trackball to wake my PC from sleep mode and fracking Windows 10 had installed itself and only needed me to press the accept or...
