Want To Track Visitors on Facebook?

Are there any possible Facebook trackers out there that can be used to track your Facebook profile visits? On this page you will find out the answer.

Some of the social networking sites like Orkut, LinkedIn and MySpace have the capability of tracking visitors and you can even view who all visited your profile. People who shifted from these social networking sites to Facebook found one major feature missing -- profile tracking. Facebook doesn't seem to have any such inbuilt features because of which many users out there are searching for a solution. Probably they want to see who all are spying on them, or want to see who all have developed a particular "liking" towards them. I know many users who keep searching for Facebook tracking solutions online. So I decided to do a little research myself to see if there is any possible way to track your Facebook profile visitors. Does a Facebook tracker or hack exist which you can use to check your profile visits? Let's find out.

UnFaced.com - Perhaps The Only Way To Track Facebook Profile Visits?

I came across this site - Unfaced.com - on my quest to search for trackers that might allow you to check who all viewed your Facebook profile. Did you know that the UnFaced founder John Arrow has been banned from Facebook on terms of violating their ToS? John however believes that Facebook is being irrational and he continues to run the service even if Facebook offered to have his account reinstated provided he deletes his site.

Is UnFaced.com a scam? According to many users (as per the reviews online), it is an app which can be used just for fun and cannot be relied on completely to give away correct statistics. Please be aware that your own account might be deleted if you use such trackers which go against Facebook's ToS.

Doorbell - A Facebook App

Doorbell is a Facebook application (not developed by FB) which allows you to put a 'doorbell' on your Facebook profile. This application is not really effective when it comes to tracking your profile visitors because a person needs to click on the doorbell in order for stats to be recorded. Doorbell currently has around 30,000 plus active users and has an overall rating of 2.6/5 stars.

Using Notes To Embed Facebook Tracker Code...

Generally, HTML is not allowed anywhere on Facebook except in Facebook Notes. It is plausible to enter a hit counter code into Notes but it won't be effective when it comes to tracking Facebook profile visits.

Most Of The Trackers Go Against Facebook's ToS

Even if you do end up with a code or hack that will allow you to track your Facebook profile visitors, rest assured you are going against Facebook's ToS and you can even land yourself in trouble. Facebook has even mentioned in its help center that "Applications cannot track profile visits for users who simply go to another person's profile; Facebook has made this technically impossible. If an application claims to provide this functionality, you can report an application for abuse by going to the application's About page and clicking Report Application at the bottom of the page." These rules by Facebook has made it next to impossible to embed a tracker specifically meant for checking Facebook profile visits.

Thanks for a great hub. I have often wondered if it were possible to see who was looking at your page.
