I've twittered before - but usually given up. I'm hoping to post new hubs etc to twitter on my new account. @LarasmamaHP
Just wondering, do you think twitter helps with traffic? Should I put some work into getting followers?
Thanks for feedback!
Sunforged recommended us to start a Twitter account when we were doing the 60 day challenge.
I think it's only worth it if you can automate your tweets. You can do that by creating a RSS feed of your Hubs and submitting it through a free service like Twaitter.com.
You can automate it using ping.fm+twitterfeed.com . Link your profile rss feed to twitterfeed and connect it with ping.fm.
I think as an additional backlink, in the eyes of Google, it helps with page rank - whether it generates traffic or not. Google likes the forever changing quality of content with twitter.... just a thought
Use hashmarks so if people search a specific topic they will find your tweet ie #music #health etc.

I have used RSS feeds, linkedin, pings and craigslist to promote my hubs. The only item that seems to deliver results for me is Twitter. What are your thoughts and experiences?

I'm assuming the more visits you get to your hubs the better your chances of earning money. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm relatively new to Hubpages, and so far I've published three articles. However, the view numbers are pretty small, and I'd like to increase them. I'm currently writing some more Hubs right now, but any tips that...
