I lost my Hotmail account last year because I believed Hotmail itself wanted info to update my account.  Naive, naive.
      As paradigmsearch says, delete!!

    A public service announcement:

Pretty much all email accounts have filtering options.

“.hk” is the TLD for Hong Kong.

It is easy to set your account to automatically delete email from any given domain, including Top-Level such as “.hk”, “.ng” (Nigeria), etc.

Edit: It wont eliminate the spam-o-grams, but it will slow it down some.

Thanks to all of you who responded.

I never seriously thought it came from Microsoft the style and layout was far too amateurish to be believable that and there was no letterhead.

Knowing Microsoft, as I do, I would only have believed it if it had been trying to sell me something. They are such a self centred egotistical company that they don’t even have an Email address where the public can warn them that their Glorious name maybe being used in vain.  Microsoft giving anything away ... Yeah Right !

I was looking for your thoughts and opinions  for which I thank you but I also posted the message in full  hopefully as a warning to others.
