Does anyone know or suggest a specific 404 page code structure ?
I just found this Hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/Effective-SEO-T … -Structure
OR maybe this wordpress site can be of some help:
http://www.1guywebdesign.com/index.php/ … -wordpress
Thanks for the tip but I am looking to either find the 404 plugin or the 404 code itself so I can upload it to the site.
Hi...i myself was searching for this topic a few days back when the tech support ppl of my site jumped to my help!
For creating a Error Page for any Series(be it 404 or 504 or anything) you just have to add a line to your ".htaccess" file which will be right there in your main directory.
This file can be edited through any FTP client.
Just add this line & check out:
ErrorDocument 404 http://your-error-page's-address.html
You can replace the no.404 with any error no. you need.
