I want to know if we can register domains at Godaddy.com for more than one year
Yes, you can register for up to 5 years.
You get a discount for registering domains longer.
Check NamePros.com, Domain Discussion area of their forum, for current discount codes before buying domains on GoDaddy.
I have several domains registered there, and their sales and support people have been very helpful in helping me get the best deal for my sites, most of which are registered for two or three years. One tech person even suggested I move one domain into a subdomain under a different plan, even though GoDaddy would be making less as a result. That gave me a lot of confidence in them.
Dont forget to search for godaddy domain codes, you can get some good reductions
Why WOULD YOU Support a Company that publicly KILLED AN ELEPHANT as a publicity stunt?
You have the wrong company.. both on price and on Nature Ethics!
If you want a REALLY GOOD host and registrar.. mail me and I will introduce you - to a better discount than most here will get you.. simply as a result of my trading records with them.

I am considering creating a web site and would appreciate comments/suggestions. I am fairly new to this and the only web hosting/creation site that I know is godaddy.com but I am sure there must be more.
