I have been struggling with calculating values in Excel. I have tried both Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 but I still get a #Value error. The formula is =B2*C2*0.25*0.40*0.05. B2 is number value and C2 has dollar value. Please help me solve this as I am doing keyword research for my new website.

Someone's been reading up on TKA I see. smile

I think Simey and I gave you the answer the other day -- either B2 or C2 is not being recognized as a number. Did you specifically go and reformat both cells?

Sid - Contact me via my profile page. I'll give you my email address (don't want to publicize it here) and maybe you can send me the spreadsheet. I'm happy to take a look at it.

Like Irohner said, make sure that both cells are recognized as numbers.

Format C2, make sure it is set to “Currency” and that the currency symbol is set to whatever currency you are using. If you are using $ in C2, make sure that the currency symbol in format is set to $.
