Does ezine articles allow you to use anchor text like below in the author section, or do they only allow you to post a link?
Yes you can add two self servicing links withing the content of your article and few more in the author box while submitting an article over Ezine.com. Keeping some valuable and unique content around all the keywords your are linking is always good.
Ezine is good but it takes about a week for your articles approved

this is just my personal opinion on what everyone should do for each of their hubs directly after writing them or at any point in time. Submit them to 3-4 of your favorite social bookmarking websites (takes 2-5 minutes)...
