Do people have favorite places to blog ?  Of course for me it is hubpages and my paperdoll blog on vistaprint.  I also am starting to blog on igoogle stream and I have created a few pages on that for hubpages and my paper doll website.  I also like to write on my yahoo and make it public and Wordpress, triond, squidoo, overblog and maybe one other place.  Of course Twitter is fun.  I'm looking into seeing if we can reply to celebrity tweets if their tweets raise interesting opinions.  Sometimes I'm sure they read some even though they don't have time to comment to everyone.  I personally think Ellen Degeneres is pretty funny and would like to read some of her tweets.

Depends if you mean blog as in "Write a personal account of your day" or blog as in "Website with quality information that is pertinent to people on a particular topic."

I prefer blogger for quick and small sites where I don't wish to buy a domain. Blogger is easy to use and you can monetize if if you want to at any stage.

I have my main blog at Wordpress, which is business orientated.  My more personal blog at Tumblr.  And then I like to write every so often here at Hubpages.  And sometimes when I get the urge I try to guest blog on others' blogs.

Wait, I guess Twitter and FB count also.

I didn't realize I was in so many places but it is fun.

Blogger is about the easiest blogging platform to use. But more professionals use Wordpress. However, you can't have google ads on a wordpress blog unless you pay for hosting.

yes blogger is easy and have less restrictions also, wordpress don't like affiliate links or any other links to your website which is not good while using blogger anybody can easily show ads through adsense without any payment

Hubpages doesn't like to be called a Blogging platform because their layout is different to a blog. They have individual topics broken down in to article pages, a blog is a continuous stream of posts updating... but I know what you mean..its still a place to share thoughts.
Wordpress is good because you can add widgets.

My favorite blog tool is Blogger, because it's fast and links up to my gmail account easily. I also wouldn't consider Hubpages a blogging site.

I still have not been able to figure out how Wordpress work. For me, I find Blogger the best.

Blogger. However, I have a dim view of my success with it so far. On the other hand, it is better to have blogged and lost than to have never blogged at all.

      Update.

This is my rant for the day.

I just did an extended editing session with blogger. Their editor is an absolute, total piece of crap. Apparently, it has never heard of the concept, WYSIWYG.

      There. I feel better... smile
