I will be purchasing a new computer with Vista Home Premium soon. My question is will FrontPage98 install and be functional on Vista HP? I do not need to use FrontPage98 full functionality to publish web pages, I just need to be able to create HTML pages and will manually ftp the files to my web server to maintain my website. If I can atleast do that I will be happy to not purchase new software to basically just create and edit pages. I've used FP98 forever and would like to continue using it I possibley can.
I know frontpage is no longer officially supported by Microsoft so you may find it may not work with Vista and if they're no longer supporting that software at all then there's not much chance of them working on it.
Besides, there's plenty of better HTML editors than FrontPage, like Dreamweaver and others, chnaces are they'll have more features and make life ten times easier for you.
