how to generate valid & random ean number codes
Ean and UPC
Ean and UPC codes are required for products to be listed on places like Amazon.
If your looking to buy either a EAN or a UPC code you will find they are expensive to buy, and sometime you can only buy them bulk.
If you need a quick random Ean and UPC then there is a simple hack that can help create one for you. Remember your Ean and UPC will not be unique to your product, and it won't now be identified on all marketplaces.
Find a Valid Ean and UPC. This can be from a book or a dvd or similar media product.
Then all you need to do, is just change the last 4 digits.
for example if you change the last 4 digits to:
1234
And then you continue, then you might find that you bring up an error, and the code is not accepted.
The reason for this is there is a key which has to match up to a certain number, to certify that it is a valid UPC or EAN code.
All you need to do is work from 0 through to 9, changing the last digit, each time an error shows.
Ex: 1231,1232,1233,1234,1235
I have already used this method many times and its worked every time.
