myHomework App: How to Find a Class
The myHomework application is what it is called. It is an application with manages homework. But it is something more as well. The app connects to a free teacher account which allows teachers to post assignments, schedules, and more for free.
The syncing between the the app and teacher account allows for announcements, reminders, and other forms of communication to be delivered to the student. Furthermore, myHomework is also accessible via the web at myhomeworkapp.com. In either case, the app is available via all major mobile platforms. Let's not forget that is is free!
Sign up for an account. In order for you to take full advantage of the app, registration is a must. It is worth it. Simply follow the steps as the application (or website) prompts you through the registration process.
Finding Your Class
This portion of the process is dependent on the teacher having actually registered his or her class with Teacher.io. It isn't hard, so if your teacher has not done this, please ask them nicely to do so.
If the teacher has already registered, the rest of the process should be relatively easy.
First, enter the application. The next steps are available as captions to the screen shots.

This application is usable even if the teacher does not use it. It does require manual entry of information, but in the end the time and stress saved is a big pay off. Also, since it is available on multiple operating systems and form factors (such as phone vs tablets) there are some minor differences in interface between the different OSs and devices.
This article used screen shots taken from the Nexus 7 FHD tablet, which runs the Android operating system. However, as previously mentioned, this application is available for multiple devices & OSs including the Kindle Fire line, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, Windows phone, Windows 8, and of course any device with an up-to-date web browser.
Below is a detailed video tutorial of how to use the myHomework app on an iPad as well.
