New tablet PC 2011 is surely a hot topic in mobile devices world these days. Year 2010 showed a significant increase in the market for tablet PCs which was almost nonexistent before it. The companies like Apple, Google and Samsung and others are giving each other a tough competition in the market providing better and better tablet PCs for customers. With the start of New Year 2011, it is expected that much more development will happen in this area as customer demand is rising day by day.

New tablets in 2011

Some belive that year 2011 will result in high demand and increase in tablet pc shoping. Some of competing tablets for this hot market have already been launched and some of them are still only anounced. A new iPad 2nd edition is expected to be release in 2011 which will use android and will be much similar to the iPad with more functionality added.

Asus Eee Pad Memo 7 Inch Tablet: It is expected to be released in June 2011. Its operating system will be Android 3.0. Its display is 7inch and resolution 1024x600pixels. Its weight will be very low approximately 14 ounces. Special attention is paid to its design and apps usage. Its initial price is expected to be around $500.

Acer Iconia Tab A500: It uses the Android 3.0 Honeycomb Operating System. Its interface supports Adobe Flash 10.1 and has better seamless processing. Its display is 10.1 inch LCD screen. Thus, applications like games, multimedia and animations can be enjoyed a lot.

Notion Ink Adam Tablet. It’s introduced by Notion Ink and uses android operating system. It has the capability of upgrading to future android versions easily. It’s also equipped with Wi-Fi and 3G. It has a low power display which helps saving battery. Display size is 10.1inches wit resolution 1024x600pixels. Overall weight is 1.6 pounds.

Toshiba’s Tablet PC 2011. Toshiba as a new comer in the tablets field and is launching its unnamed device in 2011. Its operating system will be Android. It screen is 10.1 inch which has a 1280 x 800 resolution.

Samsung Sliding PC 7 uses windows 7 as its operating system. Its screen in 10inch with 1366x768 pixels. It also includes a built in keyboard which slides in and out.

Best tablet computers from 2010 are expected to make a strong competition to the new rivals from this year. Some models and manufacturers already gain fans and are expected to sell well also in 2011. This is a list of most successful models from 2010:

Apple iPad The best tablet pc or at least the best sold tablet pc in 2010. it will go still strong in 2011, at least until it's second generation will be launched.

HP Slate 500 which will use windows 7 will be introduced to multi touch interface, support for Flash and Adobe, e-book reading, browsing the internet and many more features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab: Introduced by Samsung in 2010 is still high in demand. It uses Android 2.2 operating system. Its screen is 7 inch. It has Wi-Fi capability, a Swype input system, two rear and front cameras and many more features.

Archos 9 Tablet PC Has a full version of Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition. Its screen is 9 inch with a resolution 1024x600. The device supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, capacity of up to 3 USB ports etc.

Year 2011 is expected to see a lot of competition on tablet pc market. And there are some manufacturers that haven’t enter this interesting hardware segment yet. Everybody is speculating what will be Microsoft’s next move as competition is getting stronger every year.
