There are many other parts of the industry though. The business of educating people about cars is big business as well. Information providers like Edmunds and numerous magazines like Motor Trend and Car and Driver exist solely to educate and entertain the marketplace with all kinds of information such as reviews and buying advice. Other parts of the industry such as the rental car industry are huge markets unto themselves. Who hasn’t heard of Hertz or Avis. It’s truly amazing the number of markets that serve the car industry.
