Ford is, of course, famous for starting the modern era of car production with its invention of the assembly line; but it is also known by many as the creator of the Edsel, which was a huge failure. John DeLorean became famous for his unique car which was featured in the movie “Back to the future.” You never know what will make a car maker famous.
