Auto Exhaust and Muffler

The exhaust system in our automobiles is designed to carry the burned fuel from the engine and out of the car. The system consists of a few key parts. The Manifold is attached to the engine and makes sure all fuel has been properly burned before sending it on its way through the exhaust pipes. The exhaust pipes send the gases on their way to the … Keep Reading → tail pipe. Before reaching the tail pipe all gasses must first go through the muffler and catalytic converter. The muffler helps to silence the activity of the gasses moving through the system and the catalytic converter is the final check to make sure that the gasses have been adequately burned. Once the gasses get through the catalytic converter they go through the tail pipe and are sent out into the air.
