Heating, Fluids, and Air Conditioning
The air conditioning system in our car is a sophisticated computer with the ability to control the temperature in various parts of our cars. It works in two key ways. The first is by removing the hot air. The second is by producing cold air. Key components include the refrigerant gas being used, the compressor which pushes the refrigerant … Keep Reading → through the system, and the expansion valve which makes the refrigerant get very cold by expanding and contracting. The heating system in our car simply uses some of the massive amount of heat that is created by the engine and distributes that to the inside of the car. The cars cooling system helps take the extreme heat from the engine and with the use of a liquid coolant it carries the heat away from the engine to be distributed. While the radiator helps to push heat out of the car, the heating system pushes some of that heat to the car interior to keep the car heated.
