There is still hope for electric cars as well. Companies like Tesla Motors are producing cars that are meant to compete with high end mainstream cars. Vehicles are produced around the world with other types of energy as well. Solar power, natural gas, and hydrogen have all been used to power vehicles in parts of the world.
