Biodiesel fuels which come from plant and animal based products offer similar hope for diesel based vehicles. Mass production vehicles powered by electricity are already available and the future of that technology is very exciting. Hybrid vehicles continue to evolve, but the success of the Toyota Prius and other vehicles suggest that the market for hybrids is significant. Finally fuel cell technology offers yet another exciting technology that can potentially power vehicles in a cleaner, more efficient manner.
