Motorcycle manufacturers sometimes show off bikes that are close to being production models. They seek feedback to see what the public likes and what might need to be changed before offering that bike to the public. Other bikes are displayed that are not intended to be released. These usually show off some design or technology innovation that the manufacturer wants to unveil to the public. In both cases, motorcycle fans get to see some amazing new bikes.
