The races are typically very exciting with very sharp angled curves and a significant incline on the track that can make it challenging to navigate. The irregularities of the track are intentional and are designed to make the drivers continuously change gears to navigate the track. This is one of the many skills necessary to be an effective track racer. The American Motorcyclist Association sponsors some of the biggest races in track racing.
