From the huge open spaced structures of the Greeks to the classical dome shapes that marked the rise and fall of The Roman Empire, the architects of those lands have left their mark. Some of these structures still exist to the delight of many a tourist. Also still to be found are remnants of the classic Gothic churches and many of the amazing Renaissance and Baroque structures that fill European cities. The simplicity of many newer modern-style designs can also be found in many parts of the world.
