Fortunately there are some time-tested strategies that can help you to do your best on all of your exams. Read your textbooks before you cover the material in class. It you are reading actively and taking notes, you won’t need to take as many notes in class; leaving you to just listen and absorb. Immediately after class review the material again. Start thinking about possible test questions. A week before the test, go over your notes again. Do one final review the day before the exam. What questions would you ask if were giving the test? By the time you take the test the material will be so familiar, the test will be a breeze.
