When we talk of ecosystems we are discussing all of the components that make up a particular environment. The ecosystem of an ocean would be huge. It would include all of the fish and other living organisms as well as every physical structure and element found within the ocean. The location and climate of the ocean plays a large part in the ecosystem. Certain climate conditions make it possible for some life forms and impossible for others. Examples of other types of ecosystems include rainforests (and other forests), deserts, grasslands, and tundra. They all have unique qualities that can exist only in that particular type of environment.
