The climate of Australia tends to be mild with a relatively small difference between the coldest and warmest months. Parts of Australia can get very hot, particularly in the summer months when temperatures over 100 degrees Fahrenheit are common. Australia doesn’t tend to get a lot of rain. There have been periods with very bad drought conditions. The majority of the Pacific Islands of Australia/Oceania have tropical or subtropical climates.
