The automobile industry is another business that has seen dramatic changes over the years to make vehicles safer for the environment. All cars today in the United States must pass emission tests that indicate how many pollutants are being put into the environment. Over time the concerns about pollution have grown from simply the safety of the air we breathe to more far reaching issues such global warming and the effect on the planet.
