One of the challenges of ancient historians is that so much of what identified ancient civilizations has not survived all of these years. Fortunately, through the work of historians and archaeologists we have found enough evidence to piece together much of ancient history. From the ancient civilizations of China, Egypt, Mesopotamia, to the later societies of the Greeks and Romans, where much more documented evidence exists we are able to study the history of ancient civilizations and learn much about whom they were and how they lived.
