From the Revolutionary War, to the Declaration of Independence, to the Federalist Papers and the Constitution of the United States which outlined the basic structure … Keep Reading → of the new country, the later part of the eighteenth century was the beginning of one of the greatest powers in the history of the world. There were, of course, many other significant events taking place around the world. The beginning of the Industrial Revolution which would change the economic fortunes of many countries and millions of people was happening during this time as well. Another significant event of the eighteenth century was the French Revolution which took place from 1789-1799. Some of the great creative figures of the century include Mozart, Haydn, and Voltaire.
