This includes everything from the chariots and bows and arrows of early military efforts to the advanced weapons and military capabilities of modern warfare. The ability to reach the enemy has always been a crucial part of military strategy. From the early use of naval strategies to more recent innovations in airplanes and air based delivery systems, technology has provided both the weapons and the means to deliver them in battle.
