Health law is the specialty of the law that is concerned with enacting and enforcing codes of conduct for medical professionals. On the government side health law includes the adoption and administration of the rules designed to offer protection. At the other end of the spectrum is the sub-specialty of medical malpractice. Malpractice allows people who have been harmed due to the negligence of a medical professional to be compensated relative to the harm done.
