One of the most popular tests is the MBTI. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is used by thousands of organizations to test personality preferences. The test is based on the philosophies of Carl Jung. Another popular test is the HBDI, or Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument. The HBDI is based on the work of Ned Herrmann and his theories on thinking styles and brain dominance. These tests are designed to be used more for maximizing worker output than in decisions on who to hire.
