The subject of gender studies is concerned with the issues relating to the roles of men and women in society. Research in gender studies has looked at areas such as the role of gender in the workplace. This has included both the ways in which the work environment differs for the men and women as well as the specific challenges that each gender faces. The scope of gender studies is always changing to include the latest issues that are relevant to men and women.
